Clara Davina

Hi there! I'm Clara and i'll tell you a bit about me. I like yellow flowers. And tea. I drink a lot of tea. When i was a kid i spend most my time reading about earth. Watching documentaries. Turning the pages in huge books filled with photography. Zooming in on every place in google earth. Making neverending lists on where i wanted to go. I still do all these things. I move around quite a bit. I get nervous when i stay somewhere longer. I wondered if I was running away from something for a while, but actually I think I am running towards the world because it fascinates me so much.

I like to see it as trying out lots of different lives in lots of different places. I learned many things and worked in all kinds of different jobs, lived in big cities and far away from them. I also did a lot of things that weren't so great, but you can't know what's good and what's not if you don't try, right?

I like leaving. I like arriving. But mostly the time in between. I don't like leaving people behind. I break my own heart a lot. I can be very self-conscious. I love photography. I love telling people stories about places. I think it connects them to people and places they will never see and it makes the world a little smaller. Like in a good way.
​I laugh a lot, do a lot of yoga and listen to a lot of music. I have a lot of questions. I google a lot. Sometimes the whole night. And day after that. I love the ocean. I have a lot of  optimism, most of the time.

There is so much i want to do. But it all comes back to my passion about our world. I want to do my part in helping to preserve our beautiful nature and share my knowledge and stories. At the moment i am doing the things to be a research person. I like a lot of science things. marine sciences, wildlife, plant biology, sociology, mycology, forestry,....
