Vietnam, i sadly keep a quite bad memory of Vietnam, because even though half of the time of our trip there was amazing, the other half just wasn't at all. We arrived in Ho Chi Minh and stayed there for a week, we met loads of Friends there and i really enjoyed the town. It's a big cultural mix over there, you can see the french Influence in the architecture. While walking through parks Vietnamese Students started talking to us, just wanting to exchange knowledge, they were very curious and in exchange for our storys from other countries and musics, movies and anything really they showed us nice, small places where we could eat. Our little Hostel was held by two Kids, and we went to play Video games with them quite often. I really loved Ho Chi Minh and really want to go back. from there we went to Huê, where we bought our Motorbike. From there we went all the way up to Phung Na, wich was amazing. Sadly in Phung Na it started raining so much that we decided to go up to Hanoi by Bus, we tried keep riding our Motorike, but everything got really negative, it wasn't so much the rain the most depressing where the people. I wasn't confronted with racism against me before and it was quite shocking. Kids showing us middle fingers on the road, people insulting us every day. Nothing big, just small mean things and rip off all day long, every day. We went to Halong bay but it was just not what we thought it would be, big hotels, and loads of concrete everywhere. We decided to drive directly from there to Laos.
i still thing Vietnam is a nice Country, just some parts are for me not attractive at all.
