Puzant

Puzant is a particularly warm and well reflected Solar Cell Scientist from Beirut

and a passionate musician with armenian origins. He has eyes just as dark as his

hair, and a gentle Aura that makes you feel at ease in an instant.

We met in Freiburg, South germany to talk about Climate Change & Mental Health.

>"Do you feel like Climate Change affects your day to day life?"

Minor things arent getting that affected

>"Does climate change affect your emotional well beeing?"

"Yes, seeing all the serious problems in the world defintly affects me. I think about our future a lot and i see that it might have a very devastating effect on our society. I can't say i feel hopeless, i don't see drastic mesures beeing taken and it bothers me, but i still think we can make a change.

My Hope comes from the younger generation, it comes when i see these people, people from all ages going to the streets, demanding change and demanding politions to take action. I was in the biggest protest here, and i never whitnessed such an atmosphere in my whole life. All ages reunited in the streets, demanding one thing that shoulnd't be as difficult as it seems to be. We have technical solutions, now we need to change the policies.

> Do you feel included into society through groups/ events related to ecological topics?

"Yes i do, through my phd. My professors at University increased my interest in this subject and became my role models in this topic. Coming from a developping country it wasn't a topic that had priority. Energy demand is getting higher with our growing population and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions renewable energy ( solar energy for example) would provide clean energy. My life Goal has become to developp these cells."

>Where did you get your information from?

"Well at first from University. I think the most touching ressource is the human ressource. Discussions with my friends and flatmates affected me a lot

I would like to add that you should understand, as europeans, that it's not only about spreading awareness in germany. The main problem are developping countries. A lot of work should be done internationally. I urge you to go to the developping countries and spread awareness over there. They live in other situations, in a different society that has many economic struggles."
